We are all Surviving: A Family Update.

Although it is 4:26 in the morning - I woke up at 3 a.m. and can never go right back to sleep at that time - we are all surviving our bout with the "sea of bacteria," as Michael called it on his blog this week. The kids and I were able to come home, although as soon as we got here Ethan, from whom Stella, Michael and I got our latest round of sick, got another fever. It really is endless, isn't it? There is a lot about raising children they never tell you!

But we are grateful. Despite the occassional crumbling of our health due to daycare cestpools, our children are healthy. Stella Edison weighed 20 lbs. at her last doctor's appointment. (That's really big for a 6.5 month old, for those of you with nothing to compare it with). She is such a big girl with two teeth and lots of baby talk. Ethan has taken to calling everyone "very helpful" and adores his Meema, my mom. (She has been the lifepreserver in this wave of illness we've had lately - and pretty much every one before, too. Invaluable). Massage school is going well, though I am often tired. Michael, as you may have noticed from his blog is interviewing for several new opportunites at Dell. We are very proud of him. He officially had his one year anniversary with the company on Tuesday.

More as it develops! I hope!
